Mom, Coop, and Dad come visit!

This was also a while ago, but I love some of the pictures I got! My mom, dad, and Cooper came over for some fun in the northwest. I met up with them for a day at the zoo (Mike was doing scouting stuff) and we had fun looking at all the animals. It was fun going with Cooper, until of course he got tired...did I mention I can't wait to have kids someday?

We went through the butterfly house and the only one of to have a butterfly land on them was... Kelly! In fact, it liked him so much it didn't want him to leave, the zoo attendant had to shoo it away with a feather duster before we left. He looks like they made a connection!

The smallest monkey in the world, adorable!

Cooper was too busy watching the elephant eat to look at the camera.

The hippos lazin' in the sun.

Cooper was thrilled with this orangutan! He thought it was hilarious that it was eating 5 inches away from his face.

Mike's Birthday

So I know that this is totally out of order (Mike's birthday is May 17th), but since Mike posted about my birthday, I felt like I would be leaving him out if I didn't post about his!
For his birthday, we and a group of friends went to a Mariner's game! We had a lot of fun and the M's won! (fyi, for those not following Mariner's baseball, this has been a not-so-great season) We had a good time, even though it was extremely hot! As you can see below, I got a little burnt from the sun! Afterwards we had yummy cheesecake!

Our big group! (I think I caught everybody off guard)

Mike's Parents came over from Moses Lake to celebrate with us.

Connor, my little brother, came along also!

Yea!!! The M's win!

Briana's Birthday at Ocean Shores

Big wave crashing on the jetty
A really cool tree trunk on the beach
Waves rolling in
Self portrait on the beach

For Bri's birthday we went to Ocean Shores, WA on the pacific ocean. We stayed in a hotel, thank goodness, because it was stormy all weekend. It was fun to go down to the beach and watch the wave crash and see all the wildlife. You can actually drive on portions of the beach, that was fun until we almost got stuck in the sand. Overall it was a fun trip even though we didn't get to do as much as we had planned because of weather.

Memorial weekend trip to Hood Canal

Sunny day on the beach

Our loot!

Back at camp

"Ooh! I found one!"

For Memorial weekend we camped at Belfair State Park on the hood canal. We had a fun time just hanging out, riding our bikes and digging clams. It was fun just being on the ocean and seeing all the wildlife and enjoying the awesome weather.

This is our Life...in a nutshell!

We have finally started our own blog! It will be good for us to finally sit down and keep information of our family documented. We like to think of it as our new (um, only?) family journal.

We have been very busy with work, church callings, and just life in general, but we knew it was now or never to start this, so we chose now!

We actually have been able to do a lot this summer and have had a great time.

I will be posting lots of pictures and updating you on our little adventures very soon!

Stay tuned!

Love,

Bri & Mike
